Brewhouse Historical Sports Bar Offers a Cool High-tech Sound Solution For Television Watchers
Travelers & Locals Alike Can Now Listen to Silent TVs on Their Phone, IPad or Android!
St. Louis, Missouri, - April 11, 2014: James Jordan is sitting at a table in the Brewhouse Historical Sports Bar inside of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch. The St. Louis Cardinals are playing on a muted television near him. It’s a game that James wants to hear so he reaches for his Smart phone and clicks on a few buttons. Instantly, the sound of the game on the TV pours through his phone in real time.
The Brewhouse has just made listening to a sports game (or any other program) easier for their customers. Customers can now pick one of the varied games and shows on the many televisions in the bar and listen to it from anywhere in the room. “No longer do you have to ask your server to turn up the volume,” says Dave Burnock, Owner of Custom Sound & Vision. and a National Distributor of this new technology, “You have complete control on your phone or other device of the sound from any TV in the room! Right at your fingertips, Right there at your table or chair.”
The Wireless Audio Distribution (WAD) technology is an app that is easily downloaded to your iPhone, iPad or Android device. This makes it effortless for you to choose the channel and adjust the volume from any one of the television screens in the room. Then you can listen to it right from your device at your seat. It’s as simple as using the up and down arrows to change the audio channel and the volume control to set your desired audio level. A favorite show can be listened to through an ear piece or from the speaker on the device.
There is no cost to the user for this new service at the Brewhouse, which features multiple TV’s, a state-of-the-art sound system, numerous DIRECTV sports packages and over 60 locally produced beers, making it one of the best sports bars in St. Louis, Missouri. Mamee Groves, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, says, “We’re excited to offer this free app to our guests to enhance their dining experience. There is no charge to download the app and there are no usage fees charged to your phone.” This system can accommodate up to 20 television channels at the same time with hundreds of users and can also broadcast audio in Spanish when locations have TV’s featuring (SAP) Secondary Audio Channel.
